We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Profile Personnel. This role will involve coordinating the development, testing, and introduction of process materials, as well as evaluating engineering changes and preparing documentation.

Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Identifying and analyzing areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluating the feasibility of engineering changes and providing reports on investment requirements.
  • Compiling detailed investment studies and project control plans.
  • Organizing system coding to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
  • Collaborating with production teams to develop Work Instructions and Standards operation sheets.
  • Coordinating design reviews during new jig, fixture, and tool development or modifications.
  • Supervising try-outs, commissioning, and measuring dimensional integrity of new facilities.
  • Ensuring the installation of air, water, gas, and electrical services supports manufacturing processes.
  • Participating in production systems workshops for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and implementing new processes, procedures, or production changes.
  • Implementing corrective actions during VFF, PVS, and O-Series build.
  • Optimizing facilities, equipment, and plant/process layouts for production sign off.

Qualification Requirements

A National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or Operations Management is required.

Experience Needed

Three years' relevant work experience in a production environment is necessary.

  • The ability to analyze complex data and provide recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, layouts, and Final Assembly facilities.
  • Excellent insight into Product Engineering, Process and Mechanical Planning, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, Pilot Hall, and IS production systems.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office incl. Projects).
  • Business Systems knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Assertiveness, decision making, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven analytical and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preparedness to travel locally and abroad when required.
