Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager

Join Standard Bank of South Africa Limited as a Business Intelligence Manager and take on a challenging role that requires a deep understanding of technology and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a technology measurement strategy to track the effectiveness of CIB Technology strategy goals and mandate.
  • Measure and report on the realization of CIB Technology strategy, focusing on early indicators and articulating insights for data-based decision making.
  • Design and maintain robust business intelligence processes, including automation, key controls, and data quality.
  • Develop analytical models to support effective strategy execution and realization.
  • Advise on available standards, procedures, methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of analytics policy, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide input into forecasting, planning, and monitoring the realization of anticipated benefits from projects and programs.
  • Analyze and report on CIB Technology metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop MIS documentation to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Drive planned changes with the team and ensure a smooth migration with minimum impact to clients.
  • Analyze and report on finance data to assist with Technology and Business decisions.
  • Create, present, and maintain business dashboards for accurate reporting and effective decision making.
  • Develop operational performance reporting to enable business performance reviews.
  • Generate and maintain user-friendly information to ensure alignment with Group's Communication Framework and Standards.
  • Maintain existing management information systems to ensure MIS sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
  • 5-7 years of operations experience in Technology, with 8-10 years of deep-level specialist experience in Analysis and Design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze statistics and other data, interpret and evaluate results, and create reports and presentations.
  • Effective design skills, including understanding and applying the principles of design, typography, color, graphics, and arrangement of individual elements.
