Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate energy investment opportunities
  • Perform due diligence, market research, and financial assessments to support investment decisions
  • Maintain and update financial models to reflect portfolio performance and market conditions

Deal Origination & Execution:

  • Collaborate in preparing credit applications and investment proposals
  • Assess risks and evaluate affordability for new transactions
  • Support structuring and negotiation of financial agreements

Portfolio & Transaction Monitoring:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date transaction records and portfolio data
  • Conduct regular reviews of active transactions, including desktop valuations and risk assessments
  • Support treasury functions, including reviewing drawdown schedules and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitor site repairs and insurance coverage for operational efficiency and risk mitigation

Fund Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and review monthly fund reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to enhance reporting processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • CFA, CA(SA), or equivalent qualification is advantageous
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or transaction support
  • Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or financial services sector is preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk assessment
