About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our night shift claims team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of claims handlers, ensuring that all claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of claims handlers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, adjusters, and other claims professionals, as well as external stakeholders, such as policyholders and vendors.
- Compliance: Ensure that all claims are processed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or risk management.
- At least 2 years of experience in claims management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with claims software and systems.
