Key Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • BCom Finance degree or similar qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary:
To oversee the implementation of internal controls and risk management practices across the organization. Ensuring all listed audit categories are audited regularly and reporting is done accurately. To identify discrepancies and operational problems, examining records and reports, and recommending improvements to management.

Responsibilities (Not limited to):

General Auditing Duties
  • Network with other companies to research and develop policies and procedures that comply with current legislation.
  • Recording, reviewing, and interpreting data to determine the effectiveness of operations.
  • Examining records, reports, receipts, or other documents.
Data Quality Auditing
  • Responsible for developing and improving quality control procedures, reviewing existing processes and suggesting new approaches and practices - ensuring that our published data is always accurate.
Legal Auditing
  • Reviewing samples of case files, ensuring they are in good order in compliance with internal policy and procedure and regulatory requirements.
Auditing Projects
  • Leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities are in accordance with the organization's policies and standards.
Internal Auditing
  • Objectively assesses the company's loan management and business processes.
  • Assesses company risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts.
  • Evaluates internal control and makes recommendations on how to improve.
