Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assembly and Testing: Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
  2. Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  3. Quality Control: Inspect components for quality and ensure that assembly processes follow industry standards and specifications.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers to improve assembly processes and solve production challenges, and maintain accurate records of production, testing, and maintenance activities.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment, and collaborate with the quality control team to identify and resolve product defects.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Technology Professional or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and testing equipment.
  • Proficient in soldering, wiring, and working with PCB assemblies.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting methods for electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with automation equipment and robotics in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software tools (e.g., CAD, LabVIEW).
  • IPC-610 certification or similar quality standards certification.
