Welder Specialist

At C3 Resources, we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC.

• Welding Operations: Execute welding tasks with high precision and attention to detail, ensuring all welding tasks meet quality standards and specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints and plans to understand welding requirements.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

• Precision and Attention to Detail: Execute welding tasks with high precision and attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and superiors for smooth operations.
• Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to handle heavy materials and stand for long periods.

• Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in specialist welding roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrable experience with a variety of welding projects, highlighting different techniques and materials.

• Hard Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, ARC, and other welding methods.
• Material Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience with welding equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Fabrication Skills: Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.

• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially related to steel structure production.
• Quality Standards: Familiarity with industry standards for welding and fabrication.
• Safety Protocols: In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment.

• Certifications: Certified in welding from a recognized institution (e.g., AWS Certified Welder, Red Seal Welder).
• Additional Qualifications: Any additional certifications related to advanced welding techniques or safety will be advantageous.

Remuneration will be calculated based on experience and seniority with an hourly rate of R80 - R110.
