Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Test Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and ensure that testing is aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead Testing Efforts: Oversee functional, non-functional, performance, and load testing activities to ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Mentor and Manage Test Engineers: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of test engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensure that testing is integrated into the software development lifecycle, and provide quality assurance reports to stakeholders.
  • Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to stakeholders to improve testing processes and quality.
  • Ensure Adherence to Testing Standards: Ensure that testing is conducted in accordance with established testing standards, best practices, and industry regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven expertise in test management methodologies and tools
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
