Company Overview

Personnel Network is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of bookkeeping experience, with strong independence in their role and the ability to manage essential financial tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pack reporting, including detailed balance sheets and P&L information. They will independently manage and maintain accounting records from prior periods, ensuring continuity with prior months' examples. Interaction with auditors as necessary will also be required, primarily sending information to the bank with limited frequency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely pack reporting, including detailed balance sheets and P&L information
  • Independently manage and maintain accounting records from prior periods
  • Interaction with auditors as necessary
  • Upload Debtor Finance documentation to the bank on a weekly basis
  • Assist with general bookkeeping duties while AR and AP functions are managed by other dedicated personnel

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years' bookkeeping experience in a similar role
  • Relevant qualifications in Bookkeeping or a related field
  • Proficiency with Navision accounting software
  • Proven experience dealing with auditors and handling related tasks
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, particularly in relation to Debtor Finance documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and reporting
