Job Description for Millwright Position at Dynexity

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Dynexity. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy engineering equipment, including pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic, and grease systems.
  • Conduct inspections and breakdowns on a 24-hour basis to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement planned maintenance principles.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our plant's equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a plant maintenance role, preferably in the heavy engineering industry.
  • Valid driver's license and basic computer literacy.
  • Matric Certificate and completed trade test.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
