Job Title: GCC Plant Engineer

Company: Fempower

Fempower is a leading player in the manufacturing of animal feed in South Africa, and we are seeking a highly skilled GCC Plant Engineer to join our maintenance team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of our feed factories, including mechanical, electrical, and civil aspects. This will involve working closely with our maintenance team to ensure that our equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the feed factories' mechanical, electrical, and civil systems.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplined maintenance team.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and participate in management meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with GCC.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a manufacturing environment with asset management focus.
  • Experience in the feed industry and knowledge of the PRAGMA maintenance management system is an advantage.
  • Registration with the ECSA is preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate.
