  • Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Reviewing and analyzing supplier quotations, proposals, and bids.
  • Coordinating with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and evaluating their performance and reliability.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and products.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize procurement processes and strategies.
  • Preparing purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and materials.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
