Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Debt Recovery Specialist / Collections Consultant to join our team. This role involves collecting debt from a portfolio of 1300-1500 debtors, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills to achieve monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with new and existing debtors to collect outstanding amounts
  • Maintain regular contact with debtors to ensure timely payment
  • Utilize prescribed procedures, templates, and methods to achieve maximum collections
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records of debtor interactions and payments
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Organizational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail
  • Ability to empathize with debtors and adapt approach as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Matric qualification and preferably 3 years of debt collection experience in a non-call centre environment
Remuneration Package

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a monthly salary of R6000, open-ended commission structure, discretionary bonus, medical aid, pension, regular training, mentoring, corporate clothing, and secure on-site parking.
