We are seeking a skilled Woodwork Specialist to join our team at the University of Fort Hare. The successful candidate will be responsible for framing all upholstery furniture, including couches, headboards, and chairs.

• Framing of all upholstery furniture
• Building and assembling furniture items as well as wall mounting of cabinets
• Sanding, staining, painting, or applying other finishes
• Using a variety of hand and power tools, panel saws, edge banders, jointers, routers, sanders, and measuring devices
• Final inspection of products prior to delivery

• Carpenter-related qualification is an advantage
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, framing upholstery furniture
