Barista Specialist

At HR Supreme, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

• Coffee Preparation
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks using our proprietary recipes and techniques.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of each coffee drink prepared.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
• Customer Service
  • Greet all customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Cash Handling
  • Process payments accurately using our cash register system.
  • Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Follow company procedures for opening and closing the cash register.
• Product Knowledge
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our coffee products, brewing methods, and trends.
  • Provide information about our coffee blends, preparation methods, and various products offered in our store.
• Inventory Management
  • Assist with ordering and restocking coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
• Cleanliness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of our coffee shop.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.
  • Ensure that the work area is clean and sanitized throughout each shift.
• Teamwork
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of our coffee shop.
  • Assist in training new employees when necessary.
• Compliance
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail are necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds is required.

• The Barista will work in a café environment with a high volume of customers.
• May require early morning, late evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Experience in a café or food service environment is preferred.
