About the Role
  • You will ensure that the relevant Markets desk(s) activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • You will provide guidance and subject matter compliance advice on relevant Markets specific rules and directives, regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • You will monitor and evaluate relevant Markets desk(s) activities, including identifying potential compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Compliance Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within the Markets business unit.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the compliance team to develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures specific to the Markets business unit.

Requirements

Education: Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees.

Experience: 2-4 years' experience within a Compliance, Legal or Risk team within a financial services business.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related field (Commerce).

Skills and Qualities: Strong analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, ability to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
