Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for performing accurate engineering design and calculations for foundation, concrete, and steel structures.

  • You will interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Identify variations and prepare relevant documentations to support project deliverables.
  • Conduct timely reviews of project structural and civil drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent.
  • Liaise with the drafting team to provide professional support in the preparation of drawing deliverables.
  • You will develop technical documentation, including scopes of work and specifications, using relevant industry standards and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Structural and Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in mineral processing and/or related industries.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.
  • South African Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Cape Town based.
  • Previous experience in management and leading large teams of people.
