The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic category planning, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sustainable category strategies and objectives over the medium to long term.
  2. Formulate a 3-year value creation strategy and action plans for competitive advantage projects.
  3. Undertake situational analysis to incorporate country and commodity-specific requirements into category strategies.
  4. Develop CCBA Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies for specific categories.
  5. Lead negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, assuming accountability for sourcing decisions.
  6. Utilise procurement power through consolidation and standardisation across countries.
  7. Lead end-to-end Supplier Relationship Management programs.
  8. Ensure suppliers meet TCCC requirements and comply with audits and protocols.
  9. Drive corrective action for suppliers failing to meet quality and performance standards.
  10. Track and manage agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for categories.
  11. Drive standardisation, volume aggregation, and process controls for value creation.
  12. Develop benchmarks and scorecards for categories.
  13. Track global pricing and capacity trends, monitor currency impact and inflation.
  14. Ensure a sound understanding of cost drivers in categories.
  15. Collaborate with Finance teams to expedite receiving and AP processes.
