Administrative Assistant

Kontak Recruitment is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our event booking team in Brooklyn. In this role, you will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, managing client accounts, and ensuring smooth event operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and document handling
  2. Liaise with clients, ensuring their needs are met and booking details are captured accurately
  3. Manage client accounts, including invoicing and payment processing
  4. Ensure VAT compliance and accurate record-keeping for financial transactions
  5. Assist the team with additional tasks as required to ensure seamless event operations

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in administration or a related field
  • Experience in direct client engagement
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience specifically strong Excel proficiency
  • Understanding of VAT processes and requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Own vehicle essential
