We are seeking an experienced Director of Training Operations to lead our training initiatives and drive business growth.
Job SummaryThe Director of Training Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that meet the needs of our clients and employees.
This role demands a strong understanding of training processes, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication.
The ideal candidate will have a Post Graduate Degree in Financial Planning with CFP status and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a comprehensive framework for training of interns aspiring to succeed in the financial services industry.
- Create a tailored curriculum (internship program) aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Ensure that training materials and programs remain current, accurate, and impactful.
- Collaborate with HR to propose and implement employee development plans.
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of trainers and trainees within the Training Academy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to training procedures.
- Research and source new training resources and materials to enrich the organization's training offerings.
- Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness and success of training programs.
- Design and develop relevant documentation, procedures, and systems to support trainees.
- Foster productive working relationships with colleagues and clients across the financial services sector.
- Stay informed about financial products and services.
- Arrange for interns to gain experience under the supervision of the training manager at the FSCA.
- Support the promotion of the training program.
