About the Role

We are assisting our client, E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD, in recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for their office in Cape Town. This is a permanent position and the appointment will be in terms of the company's Employment Equity Plan. The salary will be market related and dependant on the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction of engineering and building projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Prepare tender documents and reports, including project inception, concept, viability, design, tender evaluation, progress, financial, and close-out reports.
  • Manage day-to-day contract administration, leading site and technical meetings, and handling technical queries and dispute resolutions.
  • Ensure financial control of construction contracts and communicate regularly with professionals and clients.
Requirements
  • At least a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist.
  • Minimum 6 years' verifiable post-graduate experience in project management, planning, design, and construction of civil engineering and building projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Office Project, and AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
