Premium Collections Coordinator

Job Summary:
Safairoperations seeks a skilled Premium Collections Coordinator to manage our premium collections process. The successful candidate will have excellent risk management skills, strong computer literacy, and minimum 5 years experience in credit control within the Insurance Sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Risk Management:
- Plan and implement strategies for premium collections
- Maintain tight credit control on outstanding insurance premiums
- Correct payment allocations and account reconciliations
- Initiate proceedings to recover outstanding debts
- Conduct market surveys and identify changes in the industry
- Operations:
- Monitor and control the outstanding premium book
- Implement collection policies and procedures
- Ensure compliant brokers are loaded
- Analyze arrear premiums monthly
- Follow up on outstanding premiums
- Review non-performing brokers and plan recovery strategies
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other tasks assigned from time to time
- Prepare operational analysis of monthly results and trends
- Client Service:
- Handle queries and feedback from internal and external customers
- Improve service delivery and optimize performance management
- Develop relationships with clients and sales teams
- Optimize business process efficiency
