The Kandua for Pros app puts a virtual headquarters at your fingertips: send professional quotes and invoices, accept card and online payments, manage customer communication, and track business performance – all from a mobile phone, safely stored in the cloud.

Job Summary

We're seeking a full-time mid-level product designer with strong research and visual design skills to join our expanding team. As a Product Designer, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Manager in discovery work to conduct user research and deeply understand our customers' pain points. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our product is intuitive and easy to use. You'll update existing user flows to optimize our current product and create new ones as we build out further features and entirely new products.

Our Product Designers are responsible for crafting exceptional CX, UX, and UI experiences. We regularly build wireframes and prototypes to quickly test with customers and iterate until we know what we're building is usable and effective. After this, you'll finalize the User Interface design so it's ready for developers to deliver the product.

You'll work collaboratively with other Product Designers to provide feedback and contribute to our design system and user interview library. As part of this exciting venture, you'll tackle challenging and thought-provoking work daily. You'll work with a team of like-minded, driven individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dive into the business problem space and use data and insights to design customer-centric solutions that meet their needs.
  • Run customer research to gain a deep understanding of their pain points and challenges.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes to test with customers and refine until we believe the solution is highly usable.
  • Explore multiple potential solutions to given problems while making informed decisions about the best approach.
  • Optimize applications to maximize usability and provide an excellent experience.
  • Develop the final UI designs and work closely with the engineering team to ensure quality.
  • Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary product team to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product.
  • Tackle any tasks necessary to support Kandua's growth and success.
  • Design and produce marketing materials, including digital and print assets, that align with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
