We are seeking a highly skilled Production Maintenance Expert to join our team at Jean Fowlds Consultancy. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing activities, prioritizing jobs, and adhering to work in progress.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet operational demands.
- Set priorities for all jobs to be manufactured and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and control work in progress to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure all set targets are achieved and identify areas for improvement.
- Alleviate bottlenecks and improve overall factory efficiency.
- Utilize the workforce to optimal capacity and identify training needs.
- Collaborate with key staff in various departments to achieve common goals.
- Able to work flexible hours, including overtime and standby as required.
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of equipment and machinery.
- Sets up and operates rigging systems to move, locate, and/or relocate equipment.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Make recommendations on whether to refurbish, repair, or replace worn and defective parts or equipment.
- Document all activities by populating job cards with accurate relevant data.
- Maintain minimum stock levels of critical spares and consumables.
- Manage a small team of technical assistants through effective delegation and inspections.
