Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Debt Collector Specialist to join our team at Goscor Earthmoving Equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting customer accounts and ensuring timely payment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily collection of customer remittance advises and reconciliation of cash accounts
  • Following up on overdue invoices and payments, implementing company collections procedures as necessary
  • Resolving problems related to invoice payments and reconciling month-end accounts
  • Reporting to management on outstanding issues and potential debtor problems
  • Liaising internally to resolve customer queries and ensuring effective communication

Qualifications:

  • Matric qualification and minimum 5 years+ experience in Credit Management
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in execution, and competency with large ERP systems
  • Confidence in dealing with a range of stakeholders and excellent time management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience in the Rental, Parts Sales, Maintenance, and Services Industry (equipment) is an advantage
