Welder Specialist

C3 Resources is seeking a highly skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding operations using various techniques on different materials.

• Welding Operations: Execute precision welding tasks using MIG, TIG, ARC, and other techniques on a variety of materials.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints and plans to understand welding requirements and specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding tasks meet quality standards and specifications, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

• Precision and Attention to Detail: Execute welding tasks with high precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and superiors for smooth operations and project coordination.
• Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to handle heavy materials and stand for long periods, ensuring physical demands are met.

• Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in specialist welding roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrable experience with a variety of welding projects, highlighting different techniques and materials, and showcasing your expertise and adaptability.

• Hard Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, ARC, and other welding methods, as well as familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience with welding equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Fabrication Skills: Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment, ensuring high-quality results and meeting specifications.

• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially related to steel structure production, and familiarity with industry standards for welding and fabrication.
• Safety Protocols: In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

• Certifications: Certified in welding from a recognized institution, such as AWS Certified Welder or Red Seal Welder, and any additional certifications related to advanced welding techniques or safety.

Remuneration will be calculated based on experience and seniority, with an hourly rate of R80 - R110.
