We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager - Maintenance Expert to join our team in Sandton. This role will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of our plant, including repairs and appearance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of building systems and proven experience as a maintenance manager.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee the daily maintenance of our facilities, including equipment and fixtures, to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Facility Inspections: Regularly inspect our facilities to identify problems and necessary maintenance needed.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise tradesmen/contractors during installations, repairs or maintenance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and equipment, where applicable.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Matric or Technical Qualification: Must have a Matric or Technical High school education.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary Technical qualification would be an advantage.
  • Red Seal Qualification: Must have a Red seal qualification: Electrician.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance manager, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
What We Offer
