This role involves working with a variety of imaging modalities, including Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, transporting portable equipment, and observing sterile techniques and anesthesia safety precautions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in medical imaging and radiologic technology. A relevant undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required, as well as certification from an accredited program in one or more of the following areas: Radiology, CAT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density. Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)/CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists) registration or equivalent is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Action physicians' requisitions and produce high-quality images for diagnostic clarity.
  • Maintain imaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transport and use portable equipment to perform imaging procedures.
  • Practice radiation safety and infection control techniques at all times.

Qualifications & Registration:

  • Undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification from an accredited program in one or more of the following areas: Radiology, CAT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)/CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists) registration or equivalent.
