Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annumJob Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to oversee maintenance operations, lead a team of maintenance staff, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest standards of safety and functionality in our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining high standards in facilities management and excel in ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of a property.

  • Maintain and Improve Facilities: Manage all maintenance activities to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate Across Departments: Work closely with other departments to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Evaluate and Maintain Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations while implementing best practices for facility management.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Background: A Grade 12/Matric Certificate is essential; a tertiary qualification in Maintenance Management is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar position, with demonstrated project management or supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive technical knowledge in maintenance practices, including familiarity with architectural drawings and layouts.
  • Certifications: An OHAS qualification is advantageous; previous experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.
