We are seeking a UK Business Development Lead to join our team, responsible for supporting the BD Manager in identifying new business opportunities and developing existing client relationships.
This role focuses on business development, proposal writing, and client targeting campaigns, with a strong emphasis on the Tech and Media sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the BD Manager in preparing proposals and developing a credentials database.
- Compile directory submissions for the group's various sectors.
- Liaise with sector teams to implement BD initiatives and identify new clients.
- Support the BD Manager in developing a new business pipeline for the sector.
- Manage existing clients and the client opportunities pipeline.
- Deliver events as outlined in the sector plans.
- Support marketing communications projects, such as industry award submissions and website content.
- Promote the effective use of the firm's CRM database.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a legal/professional services firm (ideally 2+ years).
- Strong business development and marketing skills, especially someone who has had exposure to different projects and/or is looking to develop their skills.
- Comfortable taking a brief for a project, working as part of a project team with supervision or working on own initiative.
Candidates with valid work experience in specific sectors will be considered.
