Job Description:

  • Lead and manage a small team of garden staff to maintain the garden's herbaceous borders, shrubberies, greenhouses, and other areas.
  • Develop and enhance the gardens and grounds with the ability to design planting areas.
  • Maintain relationships with external contractors and ensure the garden's upkeep meets the family's expectations.
  • Operate and maintain all typical garden machinery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for plants and gardening.
  • Good plant knowledge and communication skills.
  • Practical abilities and a creative approach to garden design.
  • Experience managing a budget and supervising labour.
  • HNC or equivalent qualifications in Horticulture.
