Job Overview: Browns The Diamond Store seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Manufacturing Leader to oversee and manage the workshop operations. This pivotal role requires a strong background in manufacturing, coupled with significant experience in team management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team members meet their full potential. Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, from raw material sourcing to finished product. Develop and implement best practices to optimize production efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align departmental goals with company objectives. Develop and execute strategies to enhance production capabilities, reduce costs, and improve overall workshop performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Implement rigorous quality control processes and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production methods, technology, and product offerings.
  • Resource Management: Oversee inventory management, equipment maintenance, and procurement of materials. Ensure that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of managing a workshop or production team.
  • Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
