Job Title: Head of Business Unit: SME Lending

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our SME Lending business unit. As Head of Business Unit, you will be responsible for defining strategic objectives, business planning, and financial planning to drive the growth and success of our credit products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and build a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee large credit product portfolios to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic and analytical plans to drive sales and growth of credit products.
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets and models to support new and existing credit products.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and capacity to manage workflow.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of divisional information used to manage and monitor credit risk.
  • Manage risk and control effectively by applying applicable risk frameworks and promoting a positive risk culture.
  • Deliver consistent and timely credit risk decisions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive necessary changes within the division.
  • Lead and drive the performance of direct reports and create an environment where all individuals are developed to their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and promote a positive risk culture.
  • Proficiency with financial reports and statements.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a similar senior role.
