Shaft Rock Engineer

• Implement and manage strata control programs to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.
• Conduct rock mass assessments and stability analyses to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate ground conditions to inform mining decisions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide technical support for mining operations, including training and guidance for mining personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

• 5-10 years of underground mining experience.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Strata Control Officer.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strata Control Certificate (Essential).
• Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a relevant field (Essential).
• Rock Mechanic Certificate (Essential).
