  • Evaluating risks to ensure they are written within the company's risk appetite and comply with reinsurance treaties and internal mandates
  • Monitoring and taking corrective action on poorly performing risks
  • Maintaining an acceptable loss ratio
  • Developing and maintaining policy wording drafts
Requirements
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Heavy Commercial Vehicle underwriting
  • Experience working with HCV & GIT related products
  • Proven track record of underwriting experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines 60 Credits
  • Successful completion of the RE 5 Examination Level 1
