  • Audit Execution: Conduct thorough and independent audits of internal controls and risk management processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhancement.
  • Action Plan Development: Develop and implement action plans to address audit findings and recommendations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the organization, ensuring that risk management processes are effective and efficient.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the organization's internal controls and risk management processes are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Honours degree in Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting, or Risk Management.
  • Professional Qualifications: IIA qualification and membership, CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience, with 5 years at a managerial level, preferably in the insurance and unsecured lending industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in TeamMate, IDEA, and ACL software.
