As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, improving equipment performance, and promoting effective communication with customers and end-users. You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure that our equipment is safe, reliable, and meets the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Satisfy customer expectations by providing prompt and efficient service.
  2. Document work performed accurately and in real-time.
  3. Develop strong working relationships with customers, contract personnel, and users at the job site.
  4. Ensure safe working conditions during service activities and address any identified hazards immediately.
  5. Identify unplanned repair needs and obtain prior authorization when required.
  6. Oversee and manage inventory, maintaining optimal levels.
  7. Complete and submit accurate time sheets for work completed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Possess a valid Red Seal trade test certificate in Lift Mechanics.
  • Hold NQF level 4 qualification with at least 4-year apprenticeship or degree/diploma in electrical/mechanical engineering after completing a minimum of 12-months shadowing a competent lift technician.
  • NQF level 5 certification following 12 months shadowing experience with a certified lift technician.
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication abilities along with basic IT proficiency.
