The successful candidate will lead and manage the Retail Finance Support team, ensuring that all retail transactions are reconciled with relevant documentation. They will also adapt procedures as needed to maintain their relevance in supporting accurate reconciliations and safeguarding the business against financial loss.

This role requires a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify weaknesses within procedures, processes, policies, and related internal control frameworks.

Responsibilities include overseeing the deployment of new reconciliation software, ensuring daily reconciliation signoffs are performed by the team on the nominated software, and submitting a daily report summarising key aspects of the daily sign-offs.

Other key responsibilities include managing performance, discipline, and ethical workplace practices, identifying and approving training needs, conducting structured team meetings, and recognising and motivating team members.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, own transport, and be proficient in Pastel Evolution. Knowledge of SAICA articles and technology utilisation would be beneficial.
