About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a HIV Case Manager.

Responsibilities

The HIV Case Manager will be responsible for:

  • Member retention and customer services
  • Maintaining the risk profile of members enrolled on Disease Management Programs
  • Ensuring continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Producing educational materials and disseminating them to patients
  • Conducting retrospective reviews of related claims
  • Developing and maintaining clinical protocols, including new drug reviews
  • Collaborating with other healthcare personnel within the organization
  • Liaising with pharmaceutical companies
  • Compiling monthly reports detailing program progress and areas of cost containment
Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Exceptional knowledge of Chronic Disease treatments and procedures
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Protocols
  • Knowledge of Prescribed Minimum benefit protocols and algorithms would be an asset
  • Previous experience in medical aid or managed healthcare would be beneficial
  • Background in disease management would be advantageous
Benefits

The position offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of R 45,000 - R 50,000 per month, plus benefits, including pension and provident fund, medical aid, funeral cover and trauma and disability insurance.
