Key Responsibilities

  7. Prescribe Test Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies, test environments, and test data requirements.
  8. Comply with Governance: Ensure compliance with IT development methodology, legislative, and audit requirements for the Test Analysis Environment.
  9. Define Test Approach: Develop a logical, risk-based test approach for each project, and conduct test design activities.
  10. Perform Quality Checks: Participate in ongoing process improvement and quality assurance, and perform peer review quality checks of Test documentation.
  11. Manage Workload: Prioritize and manage workload, and escalate conflicting schedules to the Test Manager.
  12. Develop Operational Efficiencies: Develop strategies to improve operational and cost efficiencies, and track, control, and influence activities to increase team efficiencies.
  13. Manage Performance and Skills Development: Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies, and increase competencies.

Requirements
  1. Qualifications: IT-related degree or diploma.
  2. Experience: 5 years plus related technical experience, and 2 years plus experience managing complex technical specialist teams.
