Solar Commissioning PM Engineer (Degree qualified)

Our client is a renowned commercial and industrial solar company with impressive technical hybrid off-grid BESS designs and solutions.

Purpose of the role:

Lead the entire project management lifecycle, from planning to commissioning & handover. The Project Engineer will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage resources effectively, and ensure that all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are commissioned according to the highest standards, guaranteeing optimal performance & reliability.

MUST have experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering;
  • PrEng registration is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Over 3 years of experience in renewable energy and solar PV systems.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrated success in commissioning large BESS systems, including generator integration.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design standards, and regulatory requirements for solar energy projects.
  • Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Projects and simulation tools (e.g., Helioscope, PVsyst, PVSol).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Professional who can take up this challenging role.
