Our organization, Toni Group, Llc, is seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Specialist to join our Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating diseases.

We utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including a Varian True Beam linear accelerator, an Elekta Flexitron HDR after loader, superficial x-ray unit, and a departmental CT simulation with 4D capabilities.

Clinical Scope

The clinical scope of our practice is extensive, encompassing treatments and techniques such as VMAT, SRS, SBRT, DIBH, HDR brachytherapy, LDR brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology, pathology, medical terminology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, radiation oncology techniques, radiation safety, and the psychosocial aspects of cancer.
  • Maintain certification through successful completion of a radiation therapy training program and R.T. (T) certification.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations pertaining to radiation therapy.
  • Ability to interpret and deliver treatments per plans and relevant treatment protocols.
  • Experience with modern radiation therapy delivery systems, imaging systems, and electronic medical records.
