About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer/Technologist to take on new challenges and responsibilities. As a senior member of our design team, you will work closely with other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed structural inspections and evaluate existing buildings on their safety and compliance to South African codes and regulations.
- Write detailed technical reports on findings and propose remedial action to ensure safety and compliance of structures.
- Design and planning of warehouses and reinforced concrete design.
- Produce structural drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Modelling of and analysing existing structures using software such as Prokon.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in structural and civil design. You should have strong knowledge of structural modelling and analysis using Prokon, as well as experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of R600,000 per annum, plus benefits including medical aid, retirement funding, and annual leave.
