The Highland Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team is a dedicated group of professionals driven by a passion for supporting patients struggling with perinatal mental health issues. We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Peer Support Worker to join our team as a key member, contributing to the recovery journey of identified patients by drawing on personal experiences and modelling hopefulness, self-awareness, self-belief, self-advocacy, and personal responsibility.

About the Role
  • Provide vital peer support services to patients within North Highland, leveraging personal experiences to aid recovery.
  • Model and promote personal responsibility, self-awareness, self-belief, self-advocacy, and hopefulness, serving as a beacon of inspiration for others.
  • Foster effective communication and empathetic listening skills to create a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer literacy, utilizing digital tools to enhance daily tasks and streamline operations.
