Mental Health Support Professional

Cincinnati Children's is a leading pediatric healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing supportive services to adolescents with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Create a safe and nurturing environment for youth in crisis, fostering support and consistency through milieu management.
- Implement individualized care plans, including behavioral interventions and support for activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, and toileting.
- Lead structured group programming, facilitating patient engagement and adjusting delivery to meet developmental needs.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients, recognizing trauma impacts and using developmentally appropriate communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline OR Bachelor's degree in a related field (no experience required).
- Competitive salary range: $21.00 - $24.05 per hour.
