Tax Specialist Role

The Tax Specialist role is a critical position within TalentCru, responsible for providing expert tax advisory services to ensure optimal tax strategies for the company. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the tax implications of new projects and provide recommendations for optimal tax strategies
  • Liaise with external tax experts to ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Develop and implement tax planning initiatives to minimize risk and maximize benefits
  • Assist with tax incentives, company restructurings, and negotiations involving complex tax structures
  • Provide technical support to the organization's Department Heads on tax matters
Qualifications and Experience
  • LLB or CA (SA) qualification
  • Higher Diploma or Masters in taxation is desirable
  • Admission as an Attorney is essential
  • Minimum of 8 years' post-article experience in the financial services industry, mainly on tax advisory
  • 2-3 years working experience in the banking and finance/DFI space is essential
