Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Director to join our team at Growth House. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, focusing on process improvements, cost optimization, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent results.
  • Process Improvement: Oversee the development and maintenance of operational processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as FICA, FAIS, TCF, POPIA, and Employee Equity.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial reporting for operational areas, providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in administration and services to financial advisers.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leadership and team management, with a focus on developing and empowering teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and lead by example.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial management skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or CFP is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with operational process improvement and implementation of new systems and technology, including Elite Wealth, atWork, Xplan, Jira, etc.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is between R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
