  • Actuarial Modeling: Develop and maintain actuarial models to aid in strategic business decisions.
  • Data Management: Ensure data processes are continuously maintained and updated.
  • Analysis and Insights: Conduct deeper analyses to inform impacts of experience variances for financial reporting and analyze large datasets to yield rich insights.
  • Reporting and Communication: Compile reports for Company Life Exco, Actuarial Committee, and Company Board, and communicate results to various stakeholders.
  • Special Investigations: Perform special investigations into focus areas of actuarial experience.
  • Business and Data Trends: Identify and understand key business and data trends, assess the impact, and identify possible courses of action to manage risk.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and leverage key working relationships with various stakeholders across the business to support the aims of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Matric with Mathematics
  • Honours Degree in Actuarial Science
  • At least 6 of the Foundation and Intermediate Technical subjects (A111 A214) of ASSA, or equivalent, which should include A211 (CT1) and A213 (CT5)
