About the Role
NECSA is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in the North West region. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations are conducted in accordance with international standards and regulatory requirements.

About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and experience in quality assurance and control. You should have a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and applicable SHEQ legislation and regulations. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Establishment, implementation, and maintenance of IMS documents (as per ISO 9001:2015).
  • Scheduling and conducting internal audits and job observations/self-assessments of operational tasks to ensure compliance with license and operational requirements.
  • Scheduling and conducting external audits on suppliers and/or customers.
  • Maintaining status lists for NCR's, PAR's, CAR's, and ensuring that the department's document status list is maintained.
  • Registering and handling customer complaints and customer satisfaction feedback (surveys).
  • Control of documents and records in section.
  • Planning and performing management review meetings at least annually.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • National Diploma (in Total Quality Management/Analytical Chemistry/Chemistry) or a Tertiary technical qualification.
  • 2 years minimum with Quality Management & Assurance experience (minimum 2 year) in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience in systems implementation and auditing will be an added advantage.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this role is R250,000-R300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
