Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior SEO Specialist to join our team. As a Senior SEO Specialist at Wisevu, you will collaborate with our lead SEO Accounts Manager to execute diverse SEO tasks, improve clients' search engine rankings, and enhance user experience. Your role will involve working closely with content writers, web designers, developers, PPC experts, and SEOs to create effective web pages that drive optimal search engine rankings, user engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify opportunities and implement improvements, while collaborating with other departments for optimization.
  2. Pursue off-page SEO by building high-quality backlink profiles for client websites using industry-leading tools and strategies for long-term success.
  3. Play a pivotal role in content research, strategy, production, and management. Strong English writing skills are essential for this role, and you will lead and collaborate with the content team to refine copy and drive improved rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
  4. Drive keyword research, strategy, and implementation to enhance SEO campaigns. Optimize pages based on keyword insights and best practices, and develop content calendars for clients.
  5. Ensure timely publication of recurring content according to Wisevu quality guidelines.
  6. Analyze monthly analytics reports to identify areas of opportunity and note any changes in rankings to report to SEO Accounts Managers and clients.
  7. Maintain Google My Business Profiles, including uploading images and GMB posts.
  8. Implement Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Phone Call Tracking, Keyword Rank Tracking, and other conversion tracking systems to ensure precise conversion tracking without issues. Perform Analytics Audits to assess opportunities and address concerns.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or a relevant field.
  2. At least 2 years of SEO experience working within a digital marketing agency.
  3. Google Analytics Certification.
  4. Experience with Google Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).


Communication and Analytical Skills:

You should have:

  1. Excellent command of the English language.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  3. High attention to detail.


Technical Skills:

You should be proficient in:

  1. Strong technical understanding of SEO algorithms and ability to execute SEO (On-page and Off-page) tasks effectively.
  2. Ability to analyze analytics and reports, track website metrics, and use data to make informed decisions about SEO strategies and tactics.
  3. Strong content optimization and creation skills.
